    Offered from my personal collection: this is a Mount Vernon Bach 10 1/2 C cornet mouthpiece. Probably made in the mid to late 1950's. It has plier marks and nicks on the body of the mouthpiece. Being offered as an all original piece. There are some plier marks and plating wear on the receiver end of the shank. Minor pitting in paces. Can be used "as is" but would be a good candidate for replating.
    It play with a bright easy tone. Very penetrating. And very responsive. There is something different about these vintage mouthpieces that makes them so desirable. It must be in the metal.
